Credits Now Renew on Your Billing Cycle

on June 29, 2026We've changed how your monthly credits renew. Previously, every workspace's message and scrape credits reset on the 1st of each calendar month, no matter when you subscribed. Now, your credits renew on your own billing cycle — the same day your subscription renews.
Why We Changed This
The calendar-1st reset could leave you short right after subscribing or changing plans. For example: subscribe to Standard on April 25th, and on May 1st — just six days later — your credits would reset as if a full month had already passed. And if you changed plans mid-cycle, the timing mismatch could leave you without fresh credits even though you'd just paid.
Now your credits follow the money. They renew on the day you're billed, so a full month's worth of credits always lasts a full billing month — every cycle.
What Changed
| Before | Now | |
|---|---|---|
| Message credits | Reset on the 1st of each month | Renew on your subscription billing date |
| Scrape credits | Reset on the 1st of each month | Renew on your subscription billing date |
| Mid-month signup | Credits could reset days later | A full month's credits last a full month |
See Your Renewal Schedule
Head to Settings → Plans to see exactly when each part of your plan renews. The new Renewal Schedule lists your renewing credits — your base plan's messages and scrape credits, plus any extra-message add-ons — each with its own renewal date and the amount it renews to. Extra-message add-ons you buy separately renew on their own billing date, so they can land on a different day than your base plan.
The usage cards on the Plans page now show your remaining balance instead of how much you've used, and the credits widget in your sidebar shows the date your plan next resets.
Permanent Credits Are Unaffected
Any permanent or top-up credits — like one-time scraping page purchases or auto-recharge credits — still never expire. They carry over indefinitely and are only used after your monthly plan credits run out.
Nothing to Do
This change is automatic for every workspace. Your current balances carry over unchanged — only the renewal date moves from the 1st to your billing day. You'll see the new schedule on your Plans page right away.
